“I studied with Khru Jane for three years, and it has been a truly transformative journey. We started by building a strong foundation using texts and dialogues from my own daily life. These were translated into simple Thai and used as personalized learning material — a highly effective way to begin. This made everything immediately relevant, practical, and engaging. In the next phase, we tackled a much more ambitious project: going through my own book, “Startup Runway – How to Start and Develop a Successful Company from Scratch in 20 Steps,” which had been translated into Thai. We worked through it together, word by word, page by page, chapter by chapter. In the beginning, nearly every sentence contained something new. Over time, I encountered fewer new words and was able to handle most of the material without difficulty. By the end, I was still learning something new in every chapter — but I was now capable of understanding 80–90% on my own. The same applies to listening: I went from barely catching a few words in Thai podcasts to being able to follow the entire discussion with confidence. I still have a lot more to learn, and I haven’t “graduated,” but I do feel equipped to continue learning on my own. And for that, I’m deeply grateful. These past three years have given me access to much more of what’s going on around me in Thailand — from everyday conversations to media, culture, and more.
