【Colloquial Thai】 4 ways to say “I’m SO (hungry, tired etc.)”

[Adj.] + โคตร [kôde]
[Adj.] + สุดๆ [sùd sùd]
[Adj.] + อย่างแรง [yàang rang]
[Adj.] + ไม่ไหวแล้ว [mâi wǎi léaw]

E.g.

หิวโคตร [hǐw kôde] 
– I’m SO hungry!

เหนื่อยสุดๆ [neùai sùd sùd]
– I’m SO tired!

ง่วงอย่างแรง [ngûang yàng rang]
– I’m SO sleepy!

อิ่มไม่ไหวแล้ว [ìm mâi wǎi léaw]
– I’m SO full!

You can also use these structures to express something positive.

For example:

น่ารักโคตร [nâa rák kôde]
– She’s SO cute!

หล่อสุดๆ [làw sùd sùd] 
– He’s SO handsome!

สวยอย่างแรง [suǎi yàng rang] 
– She’s SO pretty!

อร่อยไม่ไหวแล้ว [aròi mâi wǎi léaw]
– It’s SO delicious!
