Did you know?

The official name of Thailand’s airport is ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ [tâa-aa-gàat-sa-yaan sù-wan-na-poom]. However, in everyday conversation, Thai people refer to it as “สนามบินสุวรรณภูมิ [sa-nǎam-bin sù-wan-na-poom].” ท่าอากาศยาน [tâa-aa-gàat-sa-yaan] is more formal than สนามบิน [sa-nǎam-bin] and it is usually used only in the written language. And both mean “airport”(^ n ^)/*
