ภาพ [phâap]: picture

The expression “เห็นภาพ” [hěn phâap] meaning “I see the picture!” can be used in both literal and figurative senses.

Examples

A: ดูรูปนี้แล้วเห็นภาพอะไรบ้าง
[duu phâap níi léaw hěn phâap arai bâang?]
A: What do you see in this picture?

B: หมากับแมว
[maa gàp maew]
B: I see a dog and a cat.

A. เมื่อวานใส่ชุดนอนไปเดินพาราก้อน คนที่เดินผ่านจ้องเราอย่างกับเห็นมนุษย์ต่างดาว
[mêua waan sài chút nawn pai dern Paragon, kon tîi dern phàan jâwng rao yàang gàp hěn manút tàang daao]
A: Yesterday, I was strolling around Siam Paragon in my pyjamas and the people that walked past stared at me as if they saw an alien.

B: เห็นภาพเลย
[hěn phâap loei]
B: I clearly see the picture (of them staring at you.)
