ฮาร์ทดิสก์ [háat dís] = hard disk
ดิสฮาร์ท [dís háat] = this heart

Note that Thai people pronounce the words “this” and “disk” in the exact same way as we neither have an ending consonant cluster (e.g. -sk) nor the “th” sound in Thai. Therefore, we pronounce both words as “dís”. Also note that, we don’t have an ending “s” sound in Thai either but when it’s an English word, sometimes we do pronounce it with the ending “s” sound.

Apart from that, we also pronounce both “heart” and “hard” as “háat” as there is no “r” sound in Thai and both “t” and “d” ending sounds sound the same when pronounced with a Thai accent.
