When you learn that you have a new project/assignment/gig coming up, you can use the phrase “งานเข้า” [ngaan kâo], of which the literal meaning is “a job/project came in.” Usually, it is a good thing when that happens but since you won’t be available to do anything else except for working on that project, it could be considered a bad thing as well. So, as a slang expression, “งานเข้า” [ngaan kâo] is used with a bad connotation. When you see or learn that a problem or a negative event occurs and you are responsible for it, you can exclaim to yourself “งานเข้า [ngaan kâo],” generally followed by “แล้ว” [léaw] or “แล้วไง” [léaw ngai] (already!). Or when you hear that someone is about to be in a bad situation, you can tease him by saying “งานเข้า [ngaan kâo].” In other words, “งานเข้า” [ngaan kâo] suggests that someone or you are about to get in trouble.

Example 1:

A: ชู้คุณบอกว่าพรุ่งนี้จะไปร้านอาหารที่คุณจะพาเมียไปฉลองวันครบรอบแต่งงานอ่ะ
A: [chúu khun bàwk wâa phrûng níi ja pha pai ráan aahǎan tîi khun ja phaa mia pai chalǎwng wan krópe râwp tàeng ngaan à]
A: The woman you’re having an affair with said that tomorrow she would go to the restaurant you’ve planned to take your wife to to celebrate your anniversary.

B: งานเข้าแล้วไงกู
B: [ngaan kâo léaw ngai guu]
B: Oh sh*t!

Note that “กู” [guu] is an impolite first person pronoun, used with close friends or people you want to be rude with. More on Thai personal pronouns: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGcwxgr-O0E
