Don’t be afraid to be judged when you speak a foreign language that you’re not very comfortable with. There is no need to feel embarrassed even if you make a mistake or if your pronunciation is not perfect because often, people who laugh at you don’t even have the courage you do. You should be proud that at least, you have the guts to do what scares you. That is actually even more admirable than being able to speak a foreign language well. And remember, no one who can speak a foreign language well has never made a mistake before. They all have been in your shoes but they have overcome their fears. If someone is more successful than you, it’s only because he or she has made more mistakes than you.
